This course gives a complete overview and understanding of Islamic Finance principles and instruments. The focus is put on the role of the Compliance Officer in the identifying and assessing compliance risks as well as on Islamic Funds and the relationship with the Shari’ah Board.
Practical aspects and operational challenges will be reviewed and discussed.
Participants are expected to have a thorough understanding and experience in the field of Compliance as well as basic knowledge of Islamic Finance principles as compared to conventional finance.
